Straturday Bike Cheaper

I found some sprues of these dwarf hoverbikes from GW going cheap so I picked em up, gonna use em in Necromunda at some point. Fucking fiddly to put together though.

This week I wrote a review of the Necromunda box I got given about this time last year, but I don't think I'm going to post it. I got a bit mean lol. But one of the points I made is that you can find good model kits for a lot less money if you know where to look!

I feel like none of this is news but it bears repeating:

- Check which sprues have been part of big bundles or partworks magazines, people are more likely to get rid of them
- Further to that ebay and similar sites are your friend. Especially here in the UK, there's a big second hand market
- Bundles are cheaper per model, big boxes are cheaper per model, even little sets of ten guys can be the same price as one dude in a box. Save up a bit and get more minis at once
- Save ur bits! Kitbash a new guy out of what you've already got, or use other crafting materials to bulk a kit out.
- Third party stores sell GW kits in particular at like 20% off RRP sometimes, support your local ✌️ And get some indie minis too while you're there x

I keep stumbling across cool indie miniatures games, like Whispers in the Deep (Miyazaki-esque) and sunrot (the other Miyazaki-esque). And did you see Adam made a minis game you play on a piano?? So much stuff out there to enjoy and there's more happening all the time :)

Hardlight Station Anthology

In case you haven't seen, the new big book of Mothership adventures from Magnum Galaxy just launched over on Kickstarter. Already doing amazingly well, doesn't need my help, but go and check it out anyway.

My original prequel pamphlet to Hardlight Station, The Horror on Tau Sigma 7 is reprinted and updated in the anthology, as well as a brand new adventure by me.

Lacuna is a classic "wizard's tower" style dungeon for the Mothership setting, as well as a paean to classic sci-fi fiction bigshots like Philip K Dick. Deadly traps and puzzles, alien weirdness, the unfettered hubris of man, and an ending that our lovely editor said, quote, "broke my heart in half".

Plus nine other adventures by great Mothership writers! Book good! I'll pop a preview spread below, take a proper peek at the page for more.
